Sometimes disconnection hits us on a level that goes beyond traditional therapy. Whether you are religious, spiritual, agnostic, or otherwise, you might be feeling a call to something bigger than yourself. This can feel confusing or frightening, especially if you have experienced religious trauma or have felt ostracized about your beliefs.

If you would like to explore that call, and start connecting with that which you find divine, Outdoor Spiritual Intensives are a perfect place to start that journey!

Are you...

  • Someone who feels a deep connection to other people and things?

  • Someone who believes there is more to life than what we see every day?

  • Grieving the loss of community or spiritual guidance after a religious trauma?

  • Looking to connect (or reconnect) with a higher power or universal sense of peace?

  • Seeking a deeper sense of personal purpose, peace, or fulfillment?

...This is one way to answer that call.

I have felt called by something bigger than myself multiple times in my life. It is not always easy to explain, especially in a world as cynical as ours, and I have not always honored or answered those calls, out of self-doubt, fear, or just being too busy with life.

However, the more I have stepped outside, the louder and clearer this sense has been. Part of my journey has been realizing that helping others get closer to the golden thread that weaves through us all has been my call all along.

I am here to be your therapeutic spiritual companion, to walk with you as you discern your unique call from your higher source, with nature serving both as our backdrop and our conduit.

Outdoor Intensives: Designed for people with high-demand lives who need a high-impact intervention.

What are "Intensives" anyway?

A Therapy Intensive is an accelerated form of therapy designed to help clients go deeper and find answers faster. Instead of meeting one hour per week for a year, why not carve out one or two full days for Outdoor Intensives? It’s a cutting-edge approach to help people feel better faster, especially when weekly appointments feel unattainable.

Many people think of Therapy Intensives like a retreat. For this experience, you can unplug, take time off work, get a babysitter, or even stay in a hotel. This time is dedicated entirely to you, so you can focus on healing, reflecting, and reconnecting.

Our intensives will involve "Walk and Talk" spiritual companionship. Together, we will spend the day outside, taking a hike that aligns with your capabilities while processing and supporting your spiritual needs. Some highlights of outdoor intensives include:

Nature reminds us to slow down

Time to Go Deeper

By meeting for several hours at a time, we can dig deeper into the issues you are ready to address, with more time to learn and practice new reflective tools and practices.

Nature reminds us the sun will rise again

Getting Outside

Nature is an ideal therapeutic setting: it regulates our nervous systems by reducing cortisol and lowering heart rates, easing our stress before we even get started, and it connects us to the raw form of the divine.

Supplemental Work

Intensives are excellent supplemental therapy if you are looking to address a specific goal or gain new insights to bring into your current therapy practice. You do not need to leave your current therapist to participate.

Intensives might be a good fit for you if...

1. You want to kickstart progress.

You are motivated for change and want to see results faster

2. You are ready to heal a particular wound.

You have a specific issue or goal you’re ready to address deeply

3. You need more than 50 minutes to dig into your feelings.

You require more time to access and process through your challenges

4. You are busy.

You have a tight schedule and find it challenging to commit to weekly sessions

What does an Outdoor Intensive include?

1

Pre-Intensive Interview

A 90-minute session to determine the goals of the Therapy Intensive and prepare for the experience. We will identify the painful memories, beliefs, emotions, or images from which you are seeking relief.

2

Personalized Intensive Workbook

The workbook includes assessments and activities to prepare for the Intensive. The workbook allows you keep a record of progress on your treatment goals before, during, and after our sessions.

3

Custom Designed Outdoor Intensive

The Therapy Intensive sessions take place at a trail we will collaboratively determine based on skill and comfort level, and are scheduled for 1-3 days, each lasting 3-5 hours. Includes targeted treatment and resourcing activities customized for you.

4

Post-Intensive Follow-up

A 60-minute session to debrief the experience and reflect on areas of insight, relief, and transformation. We'll also discuss your next steps for continued growth and healing.

Options and Investment

I’ve found that for the depth of work we’re doing, the 50-minute hour actually does a disservice to the client. It cuts the breakthrough off right as it's starting. Your investment reflects the specialized focus and the intensive nature of the progress we make in nature.
