Are you coming from out of town?
It is not uncommon to turn your intensives into a therapeutic retreat! If you are coming from out of state, here are some ideas on how to make the most of your time around the beautiful Puget Sound!

1. Book a hotel close(ish) to the trail
Knowing where you are staying is the cornerstone of any trip. When you book an intensive, we will discuss the location of various trails around Western Washington to help you decide on the best place to lay your head during your stay.
2. Identify eateries that align with your dietary restrictions
Vegan? Food Allergies? Regional cuisine? Western Washington has restaurants for (probably) all of them. If you have specific dietary needs or preferences, take a peek at what the area offers so that you can make the most of your time here- especially because you will need to be nourished for your outdoor therapy intensive!
3. Consider various modes of transportation
Although getting to a trail will most likely require a car rental, Seattle specifically has various options for public transportation that make getting to and from the airport, and around the city significantly easier and more affordable. Consider exploring the Sounder and the Light Rail to see if they will take you to any sights you might like to see in town.
