Quality Outdoor Intensive Therapy
How is it that we are living in a time where we are simultaneously more connected and more lonely than ever?
As our lives become increasingly digitally connected, notifications translate to our nervous systems as increased demands. We often leave work only to get home and do more work: One more email, a quick phone call, finishing up a presentation... and we get further away from the people we want to share our lives with.
Let's learn how to reconnect with what matters most.
Are You...
-
Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and burned out?
-
Struggling to connect with your loved ones because you have no emotional energy left at the end of the day?
-
So stuck in your routines that you have lost a sense of who you are?
-
Ready to process unhealed wounds or an upcoming life transition, but unsure of where to start?

...I've been there, too
Compassion and empathy are my superpowers, in part because I have lived under the heavy blanket of depression, within the suffocating grip of anxiety, and swept up in the chaos of my Neurospicy brain.
My own therapeutic journey was my first clue that maybe healing begins outside the office.

Outdoor Intensives: a walk with nature worth exploring
What are "Intensives" anyway?
A Therapy Intensive is an accelerated form of therapy designed to help clients go deeper and get results faster. Instead of attending therapy one hour per week for a year, why not carve out one or two full days for Therapy Intensives? It’s a cutting-edge approach to help people feel better faster. No need for a weekly therapy appointment.
Many people think of Therapy Intensives like a retreat. For this experience, you can unplug, take time off work, get a babysitter, or even stay in a hotel. This time is dedicated entirely to you, so you can focus on healing, reflecting, and reconnecting.

Our intensives will involve "Walk and Talk" therapy. Together, we will spend the day outside, taking a hike that aligns with your capabilities while processing and supporting your emotional needs. Some highlights of outdoor intensives include:

Time to Go Deeper
By meeting for several hours at a time, we can dig deeper into the issues you are ready to address, with more time to learn and practice new coping tools and reflective practices.

Getting Outside
Nature is an ideal therapeutic setting: it regulates our nervous systems by reducing cortisol and lowering heart rates, easing our stress before we even get started.

Supplemental Work
Intensives are excellent supplemental therapy if you are looking to address a specific goal or gain new insights to bring into your current therapy practice. You do not need to leave your current therapist to participate.
Intensives might be a good fit for you if...
1. You want to kickstart progress.
You are motivated for change and want to see results faster
2. You are ready to heal a particular wound.
You have a specific issue or goal you’re ready to address deeply
3. You need time to focus.
You require a focused, dedicated time frame for working through your challenges
4. You are busy.
You have a tight schedule and find it challenging to commit to weekly sessions
