How Outdoor Therapy Intensives Work
If you have never done an outdoor therapy intensive- or ANY therapy intensive before- this might sound like an overwhelming process. Here is a breakdown of the overall process.

01
Free Consultation Call
This first call is a brief way for us to introduce ourselves and determine whether an outdoor is right for you based on your individual needs and circumstances. Common concerns addressed in consultation calls are:
-
What if I have never hiked before?
-
Can I use insurance?
-
What if I have a medical condition?
02
90-Minute Telehealth Intake
Once you have booked an Outdoor Intensive, I will send you a personalized workbook to journal and reflect on the primary treatment concerns you would like to address on our hike.
We will schedule a 90-minute Zoom intake, where we will go over your workbook and your goals for your intensive.
Additionally, we will collaborate on a hiking trail in Western Washington that meets your specific comfort level and capability. You do not need to be an avid outdoor enthusiast to get something from an Outdoor Therapy Intensive- together, we will find the trail that is just right for you!

03
Outdoor Therapy Intensive
This is the step we've all been waiting for! We will meet at the trail decided upon during your intake, and get ready for deep, transformative healing. I will send you a list of what to bring in advance, and you get to set the pace. We are not out there to rush, but to process and heal.
04
90-minute Telehealth Follow-up
Between two and four weeks after your intensive, we will meet one more time for a 90-minute Zoom follow-up to touch base on how you have been able to incorporate the tools gained during your intensive, clarify any lingering questions, and lay out a plan for recovery moving forward.
